I've used this feature since I bought my Samsung laptop 2 years ago but when I use my laptop on battery, it doesn't last over an hour. Is it because of the battery life extender?

Does it change your IP address? As in, if you are IP banned on something, does it allow you to go back on it because you changed your IP address? Please respond.
